- The Age of the contestant should be between 18 to 25 years as on 15thJuly’2011.
- The height of the contestant should not be less than 5 feet 4 inches.
- Either of the parents of the contestant should be a Punjabi.
- A Punjabi speaking contestant will get more weightage in selection process.
- Consent of either of the parents is mandatory.
- A valid proof of age has to be submitted.
- Contestant may not be married/divorced/ had a marriage annulled/ nor be living husband -wife in a common-law marriage. Entrant may never have given birth to a child.
- All the photographs and video footage of the contestant is the property of the channel and the contestant will have no claim over it.
- Channel has reserved the right to disqualify / drop any contestant or any centre / city at any stage of the contest.
- Channel can add any centre / city at any stage of the contest.
- The contestant can participate from any centre as per the list of centers decided by the channel; however no contestant can participate from more than one center. Participating from more than one centre will automatically result in disqualification of the contestant.
- In case of a center/city being dropped at any stage of the contest, the channel reserves the right to accommodate the deserving contestant in any other center deemed fit .
- The channel holds the right to bring the wild card entries at any stage of the event.
